MAKITA EXPANDS 18V LXT® CORDLESS OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT SYSTEM WITH NEW 24” TRIMMER

June 15, 2023, La Mirada, CA – Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high-quality professional tools and accessories, has released the 18V LXT® Lithium‑Ion Cordless 24" Hedge Trimmer (model XHU10). The new String Trimmer combines efficient cutting performance with the convenience of cordless including lower weight (up to 30% less weight than a comparable gas model).

Larger Cutting Capacity with Dual Action Blades

The 18V LXT® 24" Hedge Trimmer features a Makita-built motor that delivers 2,700 SPM for faster cutting speed when set on the high speed option. It has the power to cut thick branches 3/5" in diameter. The 24" dual action double-sided steel blade provides optimal performance. The XHU10SM1 Kit delivers up to 100 minutes of run time with 18V LXT® 4.0Ah battery (battery and charger included with kit).

Convenience Features
