MAKITA EXPANDS OUTDOOR ADVENTURE LINEUP WITH TWO NEW PRODUCTS

These new products are weekend-ready and powered by fast-charging 18V LXT® Batteries.

Power To Go Anywhere

Outdoor Adventure is a new range of cordless products for camping, hiking, fishing, tailgating and more. Outdoor Adventure products feature a distinctive camo-green color inspired by outdoor environments. They operate within the existing Makita LXT® System, giving users seamless compatibility and one system of cordless products for use at work, home, and the outdoors.

Warm and Cool in the Outdoors

The Outdoor Adventure™ 18V X2 LXT®, 12V/24V DC Auto, and AC Cooler/Warmer (ADCW180Z) is ideal for use on the job site or on the road. The Cooler/Warmer has four cooling modes capable of holding constant temperatures of 15°F, 30°F, 40°F, and 50°F, while also having two warming modes capable of 130°F and 140°F. It has a total capacity of 20L (21 qt.). The cooler is powered by one 18V LXT® battery, but the dual port battery bay will hold one additional battery for extended run time. For added versatility it includes an A/C adaptor and DC vehicle adaptor.

Convenience features include large wheels that allows the Cooler/Warmer to be transported over a wide variety of surfaces making it an ideal choice for use on the job site or when enjoying outdoor activities. It has a built-in USB port for charging portable electronic devices and a built-in bottle opener. It weighs only 32 lbs. with two 18V LXT® batteries (batteries sold separately). For added durability, it features water-resistant construction (IPX4 rated) for improved operation in harsh job site conditions.

Hot Water Anywhere

The Outdoor Adventure 36V (18V X2) LXT® Hot Water Kettle (ADTK01Z) offers the convenience of boiling hot water anywhere while enjoying the outdoors. The kettle can produce 27oz of hot water in just nine minutes when powered by two 18V LXT® 5.0Ah batteries (sold separately).

For added convenience, the kettle automatically shuts off when the water is boiled. It has a boil-dry feature that does not allow for operation when empty, and a sensor that prevents the kettle from operating when not on a stable surface. The Kettle has a convenient carry handle on the top for easy portability.
